Vimanika Comics is all set to release the limited edition preview book of the much awaited 60 page Karan Vir’s Dashaavatar which is slated for release this August. Priced at INR 45 each, this 20 page preview book will be available at all the leading.
across India. Targeted at the age group of 12 years and above, the issue will be released with 5,000 copies in English by the end of this month.
Vimanika Comics Managing Director Karan Vir Arora shared, “This limited edition preview encompasses the character descriptions of the first 5 Avatars and 6 Preview colored pages of the Volume 1 of Dashaavatar. This is the first time we have made illustrations which are unique in an Indian way but has a global appeal. We are introducing a new illustration style called Indiana which is a mixture of the Indian style, the Manga style and the American style. The illustrations are done by Dilip Chaubey, the cover by Suresh Digwal and the character descriptions by Vivek Goel.”
This limited edition preview book is basically a sneak peak to Dashaavatar. It talks about the main characters Dashaavatar and about the stories that revolve around Dashaavtar. On this Karan Vir Arora adds, “This preview book gives a gist to the readers about the main Dashaavatar,vol 1. It also contains a Lord Vishnu poster sketched by an ace Indian Artist.”

On this Karan Vir shares, “I do most of the work starting from the scripts to research and monitor everything. People do know that Karan Vir means Vimanika. So it does help in our branding.”
Vimanika is also working on Legend of Karna which will be the first ever graphic novel to be released in India. Karan Vir Arora adds, “The Legend of Karna is about the true facts, events and exploits of Karna’s life. It is also a combination of the 3rd and the 4th issue of our previous book, The Sixth. The legend of Karna is retold in a very entertaining fashion and also includes the war, family and romance of Karna.”
Karan Vir’s Dashaavatar preview book is targeted at both the Indian and the international market.
