visage|interactive™


 visage|interactive™ is a comprehensive set of interactive software tools for producing character animation for film, TV, games, live performances, web, mobile or other applications.

Face models produced in any 3D modeller (e.g. 3ds max™, Maya™, Softimage™ etc.) are prepared for animation using the unique Facial Motion Cloning (FMC) technology that automatically produces 86 standard morph targets for the new face model, which immeditaley becomes capable of full facial animation.

Animation can be produced from plain text in any language using SAPI speech synthesis or from real speech (coming from an audio file or straight from microphone) using automatic real-time lip sync. Animation is shown on-the-fly, with full-screen mode ideally suited for live performances or presentations. Animations can be stored in the standard MPEG-4 FBA format so they can be reused. Manual editing capabilities are available for touch-up or even for creation of original animations. The player allows real-time merging of multiple animations from different sources, e.g. the body, head, eyes and eyebrows may be animated from one or more files while lips are synchronized on-the-fly to microphone input.

The animated character models can also be imported into 3ds max™ scenes for final rendering or integrated in other software products using visage|SDK™. Through the use of the MPEG-4 Face and Body Animation International Standard, animation sequences can be shared and reused across various platforms, applications and character models.
